About Dr. Jacobson

After his psychiatry residency, Dr. Jacobson worked at the Colorado State Hospital in Pueblo, then served as Medical Director of the Adams Community Mental Health Center in Commerce City, Colorado. He later helped develop state Medicaid managed-care programs in New Mexico and Minnesota, before returning to private practice for the face-to-face connection between doctor and patient.

He has closely followed developments in psychiatric treatment, and uses transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for depression that has been difficult to treat.
