What patients should know about us

Established in Brevard since 1982

More than four decades of behavioral-health care in the community we still serve today.

Different kinds of expertise within one practice

Psychiatry, therapy, psychological services, and specialized treatment are part of the same established practice, giving patients access to different kinds of clinical expertise as their needs change.

Connected to the local healthcare community

Since 1999, our clinicians have also provided psychiatric consultation services for patients in local hospitals when requested by their attending physicians.

How care works here

Mental-health needs do not always fit neatly into one category. Someone may begin with one kind of care and later benefit from another.

Start with the individual

Care begins with understanding what is happening in the context of the person’s life, needs, and concerns.

Use the right clinical expertise

Different needs call for different disciplines. The goal is to connect each patient with the type of care that is most appropriate for the situation.

Adapt when needs change

Mental-health care is not always static. The appropriate treatment, clinician, or level of support may change over time.
